Little Inventors – “Plastic Masterpiece Maker” Challenge

I was contacted by Little Inventors (UK), an incredible organization that gives children around the world the opportunity to showcase their creativity and problem solving skills, and was given the honour of being a Maker, to be partnered with a young inventor. I have been having a wonderful time working virtually with my 8 year old design partner, Erica. My job is to create a 3-D model of her Plastic Masterpiece Maker design, which aims to tackle the processing of plastics that have been removed from the ocean. The finished work will be unveiled soon! In the meantime, I invite you to check out some early photos of the piece and more details about the design and Little Inventors here. Little Inventors is supported by public funding through Arts Council England.
