Installation at YVR Vancouver International Airport – August 18, 2020
I am thrilled to have my new work “Cycle 3” take the place of my previous installation “Are We There Yet?” at Vancouver International Airport. “Cycle 3” is an all-metal, marble run style piece – a form of kinetic sculpture that I have really enjoyed working on. There are more marble runs to come! Look for “Cycle 3” in the domestic terminal at YVR.
Science World Commissioned Work – March 2020
I am honoured and pleased to have created a second commissioned piece for Science World (formerly TELUS World of Science, formerly Science World!) in Vancouver, BC. This as yet unnamed work is due to be installed as part of a wall of gears in the Eureka Zone activities exhibit. I’ve really been enjoying working with this important educational organization! The onset of covid-19 delayed the anticipated March 2020 installation, but I will be sure to let you know when it is completed and ready for visitors. In the meantime, check out this preview of the piece in motion, and find out more about Science World here.
Installation at Miniature World, Victoria, BC February 27, 2020
I’m excited to have my work “Are We There Yet?” now installed at Miniature World, one of Victoria BC’s most popular tourist attractions. Previously installed at Vancouver International Airport, this piece made the journey to Vancouver Island and was installed in its new location on February 27, 2020. If you find yourself in the beautiful city of Victoria, come check it out – Miniature World is open to the public with covid-19 protocols in place. Find out more here.
